STORRS, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma is teaming up with UConn's business school to bring some of the biggest names in business together for a forum on leadership.

The Auriemma-UConn leadership conference will be held in April at the Mohegan Sun casino. Participants include Wal-Mart chief executive and UConn graduate Bill Simon, ESPN president John Skipper and others.

The two-day program is targeted to new business leaders and will focus on how to lead a multigenerational workforce, and lead through crisis.

The forum was Auriemma's brainchild. He says he wanted to showcase the university's business school, and bring top business leaders to Connecticut to showcase their experience.

He says he also wants to learn from other leaders and get better as a coach.
