State police say moose has been struck and killed by a car in …

VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) - A woman from Vernon who went missing Tuesday has been found alive.
Marianne MacKinnon, 30, is an exotic dancer at the Sweet Hearts Cafe in Vernon. She went missing two days ago and was last seen at a Rockville 7-11 buying cigarettes and water.
MacKinnon is now at a Rockville hospital; police say she suffers from non-life threatening injuries.
MacKinnon was found in the attic of a barn in Rockville where she once lived. Police believe she went in the barn voluntarily. No suspicious or foul play is expected.
