HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- All 863 CL&P customers in the town of Hampton found themselves in the dark Tuesday morning.
The neighboring town of Brooklyn reported 1,969 outages, or roughly 55% of customers around 9 a.m.
CL&P tells News 8 a broken piece of equipment at a substation in Brooklyn caused the outages.
The issues has since been resolved and power has been restored.
Take a look at some of the Report It photos we received in November, 2012.
