Sterling (WTNH) - A calf born with a distinct marking on its forehead is garnering a lot of attention these days.

It's been a few weeks since News Channel 8 first told you about Moses, the Jersey-Holstein calf born with what many believe is a divine sign on his head. It seems to mean something different to each person who sees it.

"It varies from person to person, faith to faith," said Megan Johnson, Buttercup Farm.

Many have been drawn to Moses because of the cross he bears on his forehead, which is really no burden to him. Moses is very outgoing and a little rambunctious.

Megan says they have gotten a lot of calls, e-mails and a few visitors hoping for a look at the calf.

"There's been a few people who have come who haven't been able to get out of their car and we've actually brought the calf to them. They're just tickled pink to be able to take a picture with him and be with him and touch the cross and say a few words," she said.

Megan believes Moses does inspire positive thoughts which can be a healing force.

"They have a lot of faith in this calf and it's a nice gift to give them at this time of year when some of them just need it more than ever," she said.

A hope she is happy to share.
