Fatal accident in Putnam

Putnam, Conn. (WTNH) - A man is dead after a one-car accident at the intersection of Woodstock Avenue and Senexet Road.

The incident happened on Friday around 3:50pm.

Mark Desaulnier, 36, was trying to make a turn, when instead, his car left the road, and turned the car on it's side. In the incident, the car crossed several residential properties.

Desaulnier was trapped inside the car, and had to be extracted. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The incident is under investigation.
