Killingly, Conn (WTNH) - Route 6 in Killingly was closed for a short time Friday evening following a fatal car accident.
State Police say the accident happened around 6pm near Cucumber Hill Road. The driver of the car somehow lost control, went off the left shoulder and collided with several trees.
The deceased has not yet been identified. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was re-opened around 9:30pm. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
