KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A high school in Killingly was evacuated after a hand-written bomb threat was discovered on a bathroom wall.
Police said shortly after 10 a.m., they received a report of a time-specific bomb threat that had been written on a wall within a bathroom stall in the male restroom (administration section), at Ellis Technical High School.
The school is located at 613 Maple St., in Killingly.
Police said a student using the bathroom found the message.
School faculty and State Police then conducted an evaluation of the school, and arranged for safe transportation home for students.
Classes were cancelled for the remainder of the day.
The State Police Bomb Squad responded to the scene and conducted a search of the school finding no explosive device or suspicious packages, police said.
No student or faculty were injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
