Man killed by train identified

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police have positively identified a man that was fatally struck by a train in Plainfield.

The man has been identified as 52-year-old Brian C. Dailey, of 31 Depot St., in the Wauregan section of Plainfield.

The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. Thursday.

The train involved was a Providence & Worcester freight train en route from Worcester to Plainfield.

The incident remains under investigation.
