Chaplin, Conn. (WTNH) - Police are investigating after an incident in Chaplin that left one person dead and another in critical condition Wednesday.

Shortly after 4 p.m., State Police said they received a 911 call reporting that a female was seriously injured at 95 Miller Rd.

When police arrived they located the female victim. She was then transported to Windham Hospital, and then flown to Hartford Hospital.

While on the scene, police received additional information that a second person was also injured, at a residence on Mt. Laurel Lane.

Upon arriving at the second location, police found an unresponsive male in a driveway. The male was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
