Police investigate motorcycle crash

Plainfield, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Sterling man was hospitalized after crashing his motorcycle in Plainfield Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred just before 4 p.m., at the intersection of Lake Street and Parent Hill Road.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found 44-year-old Heath Gingras, injured on the southbound shoulder of Lake Street.

Police said Gingras had been driving a 1989 Harley Davidson north on Lake Street when the crash took place.

Gingras was taken to Day Kimball Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

The crash remains under investigation.
