Teen faces charges after BB gun found at school

POMFRET, Conn. (AP) — A 13-year-old Connecticut student faces juvenile charges after state police say they found a BB gun in his school locker.

Pomfret Community School officials say the student allegedly told some classmates Wednesday afternoon that he had a handgun in his locker.

Troopers responded to the school in Pomfret and found an unloaded BB gun.

The school notified parents of the incident.

State police say the teen was released to his parents and will appear in juvenile court.
