(WTNH) - Every Saturday morning at 8:30 Aqua Kids airs on our sister station, WCTX, My TV 9. The show which has won two Emmy's and 13 Telly's teaches kids just how important it is to save our marine and aquatic environments.

Kate Mulligan, of Ivoryton, is one of the co-hosts of the show.

Mulligan is a 15-year-old sophomore at Valley Regional High School. Her experience with Aqua Kids began in the spring of 7th grade, and now she is traveling with them between six and eight weeks per year.

Aqua Kids is a brain child of George Stover, the Executive Director, who loves to share the important message of keeping the planet green and blue.
