(WTNH) -- Every summer kids between the ages of 5 and 17 gather for Camp Rising Sun, an overnight camp in Colebrook.
What makes this camp special, is the campers are kids dealing with cancer.
The camp goes for a week in August, from the 19th to the 24th.

The benefit event will be held at the Owenego Inn, 40 Linden Ave, Branford, from 6:00 pm- 10:00 pm and features live music provided by Mean Carlene and Vivid, with dinner, a silent auction and raffle.
