(WTNH) -  Beginning July 1, 2011, and continuing through August 1, 2011, the law firm of Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante will be sponsoring a "Christmas in July" Toy Drive with all proceeds to benefit the New Haven Ronald McDonald House.

For those of you who do not know, Ronald McDonald House operates a home away from home for families with seriously or chronically ill or injured children who must travel from home to area hospitals for specialized medical treatments.

Amazingly, the New Haven house is the only Ronald McDonald House in Connecticut.

At Christmastime, the House receive s many generous donations of toys and games for the children, but by summer, many of these gifts are broken or have pieces missing. In an effort to fill the void, Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante is proud to sponsor "Christmas in July" so that children who stay at the Ronald McDonald House will have access to toys year round, which will hopefully provide them with some comfort while they are away from their own homes.

Donations will be accepted from July 1st through August 1st. All donations can be dropped off at the offices of Lynch, Traub, Keefe and Errante. While all donations are appreciated, the Ronald McDonald House suggestion list includes:

  • Xbox 360 games (E-rated) ? Wii games (E-rated)
  • Toddler toys ? Toys for ages 10-13 yrs.
  • Craft and scrapbooking kits
  • Trains
  • Educational learning toys for infants (English and Spanish)

Of course, any monetary donations will be gratefully accepted and are very much appreciated.
