WTNH-- It's been nearly 40 years since the Vietnam War ended and many veterans still haven't received the warm "welcome home" they all deserved, but it's not too late.
The Connecticut "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" committee holds its third annual event by the same name in April, and a dinner to fund it is happening next Saturday, March 9th, in Branford.
Ted Aub, from the National League of POW MIA Families, and a Vietnam veteran, Bob Sheehy, were here to tell us about the event.
