Fulfilling a mother's dream

(WTNH) -- A special tribute this Mother's Day is tied to tragedy.

In August of 2009, a woman named Margo DeMaio was fatally struck by a van on a New Haven street.

She had spent years working on one of her "dearest dreams," to write a children's book, but had only finished the manuscript at the time of her death.

That's when her daughter, Alison, stepped in and the result is the book, "Tyler, the Tiniest Tiger."
