Girl Scouts send cookies to troops

(WTNH) - The Girl Scouts are keeping busy with cookie order and delivery, and this year they have a program to send boxes overseas to give troops a little taste of home.

It's easy to participate in the Cookies for Heroes program! When you order cookies from a Girl Scout, simply tell them how many boxes you would like to donate to the troops, purchase them, and the Girl Scouts take care of the rest.

If you vote for your favorite cookie at www.cookievote.com , you can also send a note to troops overseas thanking them for their service that they will receive along with their cookies.
