(WTNH) - Lifestyle expert Mar Jennings gives us some great holiday decorating ideas from his home in Westport.
Today he showed us how to bring the outdoors in by creating a waterless arrangement that will last throughout the entire season and past the holidays. Mar says to put the arrangement together, you can forage in your garden for greens to use, or go to your local garden store. He used myrtle, eucalyptus, and magnolia leaves. Arrange the greens in a large vessel.
To compliment the "rustic glitz" theme of the arrangement, you can add rustic elements (such as the raccoon Mar uses) and even decorate with nuts! It's all about using nature to decorate your home this season.
Watch Good Morning Connecticut Weekend for a new tip from Mar every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas is here!
