(WTNH) -- When it comes to eating healthy, it's okay to indulge in some delicious sweet treats.
Fitness Expert, Lisa Lynn, says the secret to cheating without gaining an ounce is to prepare your metabolism ahead of time.
1. Power your metabolism with protein, not carbs!
2. Prevention is paramount! Think Boost-Block-Burn
3. Tame the beast. When all else fails, try to tame the beast by eating yummy things that are high in nutrients, so it helps fat loss and won't cause it.
Lisa's favorite guiltless indulgences:
Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Shake
2 tsp. of cookies and cream pudding mix
2 scoops of complete protein shake
1/2 cup water
5 ice cubes
Blend for 20-30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
*Garnish with a few pieces of chocolate-yummo
Toffee and Apple Bites
Slice up your favorite apple and place Lean Bar pieces on top for a sweet treat that burns fat!
Microwave Kettle Corn
Look for 100 calories so you can have two if you're ravenous.
