(WTNH) - New Haven-based artist Andrew Yasgar, better known as Sket One, is taking the toy world by storm with his unique, urban-inspired artwork.

Yasgar got his start in New Haven in 1986 as a graffiti artist. As he got older and honed his skills, he began to branch out into custom toys. Yasgar works with countless mediums, including aerosol art and vinyl creations. His designs have graced t-shirts, hoodies (such as the one Andrew wore on the show), shoes, I-pod, laptop, and I-phone skins, USB memory sticks, skateboards, and much more.

Yasgar introduced us to his signature character called Ripple, whom he based on two classic advertising characters: the Pillsbury Dough Boy and the Michelin Man. Ripple figures are available in various colors and sizes.
