New Haven, Conn (WTNH) - Reverand Samuel Ross Lee, Pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church in New Haven, and Bonnie Cofield, Director of the Aids Interfaith Network, joined GMC Weekend to talk about a special event being held at Mount Aery Baptist Church in Bridgeport On Saturday, May 21st called "My Pastor Can Sing!"
It's American Idol meets the Church. "My Pastor Can Sing!" brings together pastors from throughout the state to showcase their talents, with donations going to the Aids Interfaith Network.
AIDS Interfaith Network is an agency where clients and their families affected by HIV/AIDS receive free and confidential care and services. All needs are met with unconditional love, compassion, respect and spiritual guidance that is believed to be an integral component of the ability to heal.
