Black History Month in books

New Haven (WTNH) - Author Katie Davis was here this morning to show us some wonderful books to help us celebrate Black History Month.

She featured the following books:
Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson
Words to my Life's Song by Ashley Bryan
Bring me Some Apples and I'll Make You a Pie - A Story About Edma Lewis by Robbin Gourley
We are the Ship - The Story of Negro League Baseball by Kadir Nelson

The books were provided by R.J. Julia Booksellers in Madison.
