A high intensity workout for everyone

Crossfit, a new gym in Milford, is dedicated to creating a high intensity universal workout for any committed individual regardless of experience, whether they are a professional athlete or a soccer mom.

Jason Leydon, owner and head trainer of CrossFit in Milford, and Rob Orlando of Hybrid Athletics, a CrossFit Strongman, joined us this morning to tell us about CrossFit and the Tabata workout, a high intensity training regimen that produces remarkable results.

The Tabata workout (also called a Tabata sequence) is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without pause eight times for a total of four minutes.
