Hot trends & a cool trip

Celebrity Trend Expert Rachel Florio joined us on Good Morning Connecticut Saturday with a look at what's hot for tots and the whole family too. From taking a road trip to the Cape to buying organic goodies for the little one.

Rachel told us to keep an eye out for products from Shatzi, Inc. She says the Schatzi brand has been a huge hit in Canada and is sure to be big here, too. The designers are of German descent, and the name of the brand means "small treasures" in German.

She also introduced us to The Baby Gardner, which produces vintage-inspired baby products. The products are hand-made in the United States.

Rachel recommends jewelry from JoJo Loves You. Her favorite pieces are the vintage pin necklaces and the double strand pearl long necklaces. She says this line is for the ultimate prepster!

Finally, Rachel suggested a close-to-home trip to Cape Cod's premier resort the Wequassett Resort, with four-diamond luxury accommodations, acclaimed cuisine, championship golf and pure relaxation in an idyllic waterfront setting. "It was the best of both worlds for me and my family," said Rachel. "We felt as if we were in the south of France while on the 27 acres of the resort and then got the charming feel of the Cape while shopping on Main Street."
