How to localize your turkey day meal

New Haven (WTNH) - It's time to start thinking about what will be on the menu for you Thanksgiving dinner and if you act early, you can get most of the things you need at the grocery store. Analiese Paik from the Fairfield Green Food Guide gave "Good Morning Connecticut" the dish on how to make a delicious Thanksgiving day meal by utilizing local resources.

Paik told us how you can find local and sustainably grown food. She filled us in on where you can buy your local or sustainably-raised turkey, seasonal fruits and vegetables. And we cannot forget about homegrown beverages, Paik highly recommends Westford Hill Distillers' fruit eaux-de-vie (fruit brandies). She says if you follow her advice, you won't have to wonder about where you food came from.
