Take a Vet Fishing program

(WTNH) -- The "Take a Vet Fishing" program recently finished its sixth year of operation after holding 16 outings this year. The program, which was established in 2007 by the First Congregational Church of Branford, has taken close to 2,000 veterans on fishing trips along the Long Island Sound.

Chairman Jeff Buggee and veteran Jay Johnson spoke on "Good Morning Connecticut" on Sunday.
