New Haven (WTNH) - When you think of Valentine's Day a romantic dinner for two and a box of chocolates might come to mind, however Analiese Paik from the Fairfield Green Food Guide told 'Good Morning Connecticut' that you should think about going green and local with your Valentine's Day dinner.

Paik said going green and local does not meet that you won't be indulging, she said you can try organic fair trade and direct trade chocolates. She says the options are endless for those of you who plan to cook dinner at home. You can select an array of seasonal foods and produce that is homegrown and don't forget about the wines to pair with them. Paik says local wines have a lot to offer and go great with just about any romantic meal.
