(WTNH) - Whether you're going out for New Year's Eve or staying in, it's important to know what you're going to wear when the big ball drops.

Lifestyle expert Tracey Kane says some of the hottest trends to make the party circuit this year include everything from hot colors to splashy sequins.

Additionally, Kane says the bolder the better to mark the end of one year and the beginning of another.
