(WTNH) - Celebrity trend expert Rachel Florio is known for forecasting trends and creating celebrity buzz that editors and consumers love. She showed us what’s hot for spring 2010 on Good Morning Connecticut.
Rachel said this spring the trend is all about happy colors, such as hot pink and lime green, and fun patterns and goods that have the eye candy appeal to make you feel good. “We have been in a recession for way too long, which led us to very little excitement when it came to our purchases, but now as we crawl out of the economy’s fall we are ready to be proud of what we choose to buy," said Rachel. "It is time to smile and enjoy this beautiful weather and these fun goodies!"
Here is what Rachel Florio shared with us:
MOGO is a brand new product and the great thing about it is that it is more than just a charm bracelet. You can link two charm bands together to make a choker or ankle band, three make a headband and four or more linked together are a belt or a long necklace. And they are fully adjustable, just link thee elastic band to the second or third rivet and voila, it’s smaller!

Ame and Lulu is a sophisticated lifestyle brand of accessories which embraces classic American style. Amye Kurson, the company's founder, launched her quest when she was dismayed by the lack of trendy golf and tennis products that were being marketed in many boutiques and pro shops. Her goal was to form a company that had classic, fun and appealing accessories that were both stylish and practical. Amye designed her first prototype for golf headcovers in 2003 and shortly thereafter launched Ame & Lulu. Although it started as a golf concept, Ame & Lulu quickly evolved into a lifestyle brand encompassing golf, tennis, yoga and everyday accessories.
