(WTNH) - Ten finalists have been chosen in Connecticut's annual Teen Safe Driving Video Contest.
The idea is to get teens to deliver a message about the dangers of distracted driving, texting while driving, etc.
The Department of Motor Vehicles sponsors the contest every year, and the top entry will be used in public service announcements. The Travelers is the contest's corporate sponsor, and provides cash prizes for the top vote-getting videos.
News 8 staff members were involved in some of the preliminary judging.
