CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Clinton is full of history, seen in its weathered and regal buildings. Take for example the Elisha White House, built in 1750.

Also known as 'Old Brick', it is the oldest brick house on the shoreline between New Haven to New London.

Within its rooms are remnants of 18th and 19th century furnishings and early American portraits.

The site is also home to the Clinton Historical Society , along with other nearby buildings such as the Buell Tool Museum .

The Buells were among Clinton's first settlers and the museum that sits on the property is impressive.

It's a unique place where adults and kids can experience firsthand how early tools were used. Be assured a visit to both sites is worth the trip.
