(WTNH) -- Visit New Haven and REX, a public/private partnership promoting economic development in South Central Connecticut, are putting out the word about a "cash mob" coming to Madison's R.J. Julia.
The popular bookstore, which is up for sale, will be the first in a series of events planned for the region, an effort to stimulate local businesses.
Cash mobs were inspired by flash mobs.
If all goes according to plan, R.J. Julia Booksellers will be mobbed between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on May 19.
