Holiday "mART" features products from local artisans

(WTNH) -- On Good Morning Connecticut Friday we spoke with Vivian Nabeta, Director of Arts & Culture for the City of New Haven, about the holiday mART, where local artisans get to display and sell hand-made jewelry, handbags, one-of-a-kind greeting cards and more.

The store is located at 756 Chapel Street in New Haven.

Also there:

• Airbrush artist who will create customized designs on hats and tee-shirts
• New Haven Reads will host 'Story Time' every Sunday and
• Book donations to New Haven Reads can be left at the market during its hours of operation.
• Santa will visit Saturday December 1st from 12 pm to 2 pm
• December 2nd at 1:00 p.m., a holiday art lesson with jewelry designer Robin Gilmore at the kids crafting corner
• Live musical performances
