(WTNH) -- Some school are already back open in Connecticut, others are closed until next week after the Blizzard of 2013.

Good Morning Connecticut spoke with New Haven Assistant Superintendent Garth Harries about the process that is involved in closing schools and getting them reopened. New Haven has already missed ten days of school this year.

School officials decided to cancel class this week, but go to school next week and cancel winter vacation. And they're still not done.

"We still have days to make up after this," Harries said.
