After growing up in the "quiet corner" of northeastern Connecticut, Quincy moved to the western part of the state to study Meteorology. He is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) and has a B.S. in Operational Meteorology and Weathercasting.
Before coming to News 8, Quincy was a meteorologist at the WCSU's Weather Center for four years and returned as a University Assistant for two years after that. He has also forecasted for organizations such as NEMAS, AOL Patch and Examiner.com .
From running out during snow storms as a child, to chasing thunderstorms across the country as an adult, Quincy has always had a true passion for weather. In addition to the thrill of observing the elements, Quincy is also an avid weather photographer.
While away from work, Quincy likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Aside from photography, he also enjoys walking, hiking, jogging, going to the beach, playing golf, tennis and other outdoor sports.
