Nyberg: Katie Couric

(WTNH) -- After a year of planning, Katie Couric has gone on the air with her own show called "Katie" produced by ABC and Disney.

The former CBS Evening News Anchor and TODAY Show host is reportedly being paid $40 million a year for the show.

Ann Nyberg talked to her just before she debuted about her new endeavor and about some more personal matters.

Katie airs weekdays on News 8 at 3 p.m.
