DENVER (AP) -- Yale's Kenny Agostino scored on the power play at 3:28 of overtime Friday to lift the Bulldogs to a 2-1 win over Denver in men's college hockey.
Agostino scored on the first shot in the extra period for the Bulldogs (4-2-1), who were minutes from winning in regulation.
Denver's Nick Shore scored with 1:29 left in the game to tie it 1-1. Shore's goal with an extra attacker was the only mistake made by Yale goalie Jeff Malcolm, who finished with 32 saves. His counterpart, Juho Olkinuora, made 35 for the Pioneers (9-2-0).
After two scoreless periods, Yale's Stu Wilson staked the Bulldogs to a 1-0 lead at 1:26 of the third period.
