(WTNH) - UConn men's basketball

Jim Calhoun put it in simple terms, "He can play, he can play."

Just two games into his college career and already Ryan Boatright is Connecticut's second leading scorer.

The freshman averaged 18 and a half points, 4.5 assists and 3 rebounds in wins over Florida State and Arkansas.

Boatright plays at another speed.

He's 6 feet, 160 pounds of explosive talent. Much like the guy he modeled his game after, Allen Iverson.

"I've always been small, never had a lot of weight on me," Boatright said. "I just always had quickness and heart."

"He's one of the strongest kids on our team pound for pound, inch for inch he's far and away the strongest kid on our team," said Coach Calhoun.

University of  New Haven football

On Saturday the season came to an end for the University of New Haven football team, 3 wins short of a Division 2 National championship.

Winston Salem State, the only D2 team this year to slow down the Chargers offensive machine.

Pete Rossomando's guys were only able to produce 7 points, their lowest total of the year; UNH was averaging 43 points per game.

UConn Men's Soccer

It was a disappointing end to the UConn soccer season.

Ray Reid's Huskies were eliminated from the NCAA tournament on Sunday, one win short of the Final 4.

Playing on their home turf and a with a one goal advantage, the Huskies did something they hadn't all year, lost a game they led.

Reid called out his best players in the loss, saying they needed to play better.
