Yale Bulldogs

• College lacrosse is down to it's Sweet 16 and the Yale Bulldogs are among the teams that will compete for a national championship.
• On Sunday, the Eli's earned the Ivy League's automatic bid by upsetting Princeton for the conference championship.
• Tourney MVP Matt Gibson had a six-point day against the Tigers.
• Yale will be playing in its first NCAA tournament since 1992.
• The Bulldogs square off with #4 Notre Dame Sunday at 5:15 p.m.

Southern Owls

• Tourney time continues for the softball team at Southern Connecticut State.
• The Owls made school history Sunday by beating Caldwell and advancing to their first ever Super Regional.
• Southern hopes to add to its 40-win season next Wednesday when it opens play.
• The Owls are one of eight teams still alive in the Division II National Championship picture.
