DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - Alvin Abreu had 20 points, 10 rebounds and hit the game-winning 3-pointer to lift New Hampshire to a 52-51 win over Hartford on Wednesday night, snapping a two-game losing streak.

The game was tied 10 times, the last at 49 when Abreu hit his trey with 28 seconds left.

The Hawks (4-18, 4-6 America East Conference) squandered an eight-point lead at 33-25 with 15:43 to play, with the Wildcats (8-13, 3-7) using a 14-2 run to lead 39-35 with 11:01 left.

After Yolanzo Moore's 3-pointer with 1:47 left gave Hartford a 49-46 lead, Patrick Konan answered with his own trey 25 seconds later to tie it at 49.

After Abreu's 3-pointer, Andres Torres made two free throws with 5 seconds left, but missed a 3 as time expired.

Chandler Rhoads added 14 points for the Wildcats, who led 23-21 at halftime.

Mark Nwakamma led the Hawks with 18 points.
