Uncasville, Conn. (WTNH) - Last Season, the Connecticut Sun, Missed the playoff for the first time in franchise history.
As you can imagine, it didn't sit well with anyone in the organization. Since the end of last season, they've been working hard to prepare to correct their problems.
Friday at Mohegan Sun, the team introduced several solutions to their troubles....four of the five draft picks from Thursday's WNBA draft. The group includes a bunch of All Americans and, now former UConn Star Tina Charles, she was the top overall pick in the draft. Charles will lead a group that head coach Mike Thibeault is anxious to work with.
The Sun open the Regular season at Home May 15th against Chicago.
