Sutton-Brown leads Fever past Sun

Indianapolis (AP) - Tammy Sutton-Brown had 14 points and 14 rebounds to help the Indiana Fever beat the Connecticut Sun 67-53 Thursday night and win a franchise-record seventh game in a row.

Katie Douglas scored 14 points and Tamika Catchings and Ebony Hoffman each scored 10 for Indiana (7-2), which has the WNBA's best record.

Lindsay Whalen scored 11 points and Asjha Jones added 10 for the Sun (4-4), whose three-game winning streak ended.

The Fever held Connecticut scoreless for the first 4:37 of the second half during an 11-0 run to take control. Connecticut didn't make a field goal until 4:40 remained in the quarter.

Sutton-Brown had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the first half to help Indiana take a 37-30 lead at halftime.
