PITTSBURGH (AP) — Jerian Grant and Jack Cooley scored 13 points apiece last night as No. 25 Notre Dame upset No. 20 Pittsburgh 51-42. The Irish missed 18 of their first 19 shots and trailed 19-3 early on before rallying in the second half. Notre Dame has now won five games in a row over Pittsburgh.
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Indiana coach Tom Crean expects Victor Oladipo to play at Michigan State tonight. Oladipo limped off the court Saturday with a sprained left ankle. Crean says Oladipo practiced some on Sunday and is doing a great job of rehabilitating his injury.
BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) — Manti Te'o tells USA Today he doesn't believe the online hoax that fooled him will affect his stock in the upcoming NFL draft. The former Notre Dame linebacker also says he's shut down his Twitter account and isn't sure if he'll ever use social media again. Te'o has been training in Florida for this week's NFL combine.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay packers have released veteran center Jeff Saturday. General Manager Ted Thompson announced the move yesterday. Saturday signed a two-year deal with the Packers in March 2012 after playing 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.
