LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tony Parker scored 31 points last night as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Los Angeles Clippers 116-90. Danny Green added 15 points for the Spurs, who won their fifth straight game. Matt Barnes scored 18 points and Blake Griffin added 17 for the Clippers.
DALLAS (AP) — The Dallas Mavericks have traded Dahntay Jones to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for guard Anthony Morrow. Dallas gives up a solid defender in hopes that Morrow can be a 3-point threat alongside O.J. Mayo and Vince Carter. Morrow has averaged 5.2 points in 24 games while battling hip and back injuries.
DALLAS (AP) — Jason Garrison and Henrik Sedin both scored in the third period to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-3 win over the Dallas Stars last night. Alex Burrows and Kevin Bieksa also netted goals for the Canucks. Jamie Benn, Michael Ryder and Brenden Morrow lit the lamp for Dallas.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Kelsey Bone had 24 points and a career-best 17 rebounds last night as No. 10 Texas A&M routed Mississippi 82-53. Adrienne Pratcher added 13 points for the Aggies, who bounced back after a loss to No. 8 Kentucky on Monday. Valencia McFarland led Mississippi with 11 points.
