HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Quinnipiac versus Yale round two. This time the two hockey teams will meet at Quinnipiac.
The Bobcats won the first game at Yale and the Bulldogs are trying to pull themselves out of a mini slump.
The Bobcats lost their first game in a long time, but are still ranked #1 in the country.
"I think once we got that number 1 spot, it was a little different for us so Friday we were a little bit nervous and I think we came out and we didn't play our best but it was nice definitely to see the number 1 again like this upcoming week," said junior forward Connor Jones. "I dunno I think it's just a new goal for us to stay there."
"It's been awesome chasing that, just kind of having something to go for and now obviously we're going for the ECAC championship so even though we've accomplished something big in Quinnipiac standards, there's a lot more out there for us," said sophomore forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas.
The game is scheduled for Friday night at 7:30. It is sold out.
