Milford, Conn. (WTNH) - With the Super Bowl just a couple days away Giants or Patriots fan team merchandise is flying off the shelves.
"Most of our customers are leaning towards the Giants," said Modell's manager Gregg Trimarschi. "I would say 60-40 percent maybe a little more favoring the Giants."
"Giants gotta win," said Chris Grzywacz. "By far they have to win...have a rematch after last time they played."
Fans are split right down the middle at Penny's Diner in Norwalk, even though it's very close to New York.
"Patriots. Actually, I'm a Cowboys fan, so I'm routing for the Patriots," said Barry Miller.
"I'm a Giants fan. I have a husband who's a Patriots fan..ooh, but that's okay, I told him if he wants dinner, he'll have to think about," joked Ellen Barkan.
"Patriots-Giants is like Yankees and Red Sox," said Frank Matassa. "Yeah, there's a lot of people I fight with every year. Pretty boy, Tom Brady should get beat up this Sunday."
Modell in Milford will be open directly after the Superbowl, selling the winning team's shirt.
