Past Champions:

2011 Travelers Championship: Fredrik Jacobson got his first PGA Tour title with a final round 66 (260 overall) at the 2011 Travelers. Ryan Moore and John Rollins finished one stroke back.

2010 Travelers Championship: Bubba Watson came from six shots back to win a three-way playoff and his first PGA victory.

2009 Travelers Championship: Kenny Perry set a new tournament record with a four-round 258 to win the 2009 tournament by three strokes over Paul Goydos and David Toms.

2008 Travelers Championship: Stewart Cink picked up his 5th PGA tour championship with a one-shot win over defending champ Hunter Mahan and Tommy Armour, III.

2007 Travelers Championship: Hunter Mahan picked up his first PGA victory with a playoff win over Jay Williamson.

2006 Buick Championship Winner: Fairfield native JJ Henry won his first PGA tour event at the final Buick Championship. He finished three strokes ahead of Hunter Mahan and Ryan Moore.

2005 Buick Championship Winner: After shooting a final round 61, Brad Faxon defeated Tjaart Van der Wald after making a birdie on the first playoff hole.

2004 Buick Championship Winner: Woody Austin made a six-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to defeat Tim Herron.

2003 GHO Winner: Peter Jacobsen, who won the Greater Hartford Open in 1984, won the final GHO tournament at fourteen under par, one shot ahead of Chris Riley.

2002 GHO Winner: Phil Mickelson became the first repeat winner in Greater Hartford Open history.

2001 GHO Winner: Phil Mickelson beat Billy Andrade by a stroke, shooting a career-best 61 in the third round and closing with a 68 for a 16-under 264 total.
