CROMWELL, Conn. (AP) - J.B. Holmes has aced the par-3 11th hole at the Travelers Championship, the third hole-in-one at the golf tournament this week.
His hole-in-one on Sunday ties a tournament record. The other two came Saturday when D.J. Brigman also aced the 11th, and Nate Smith had a hole-in-one on the par-3 fifth hole.
None of those golfers are in the running for the championship. Holmes finished the tournament at 5-under par, Smith ended at minus-3 and Brigman was still on the course Sunday at 5-under.
Fredrik Jacobson, who was scheduled to tee off later Sunday, led at 16-under par headed into Sunday's final round.
Rain earlier in the week and light winds have kept the greens soft and helped keep scores down.
