CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) -- The heat wasn't the only thing out on the golf course at the Travelers Championship Wednesday.
The stars were in Cromwell for the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am.
Sports Team 8's John Pierson was at the TPC River Highlands speaking with some of the competitors.
Billy Murray and Geno Auriemma were among some of the celebrities out on the golf course.
Auriemma was there to play golf, but questions of recent accusations against the Hall of Famer came up to.
"Little by little this stuff all goes away, and it's my turn," Auriemma said.
Auriemma was paired with professional wrestler Booker T.
"I can do that, I can play golf as well as beat people up," Booker T. said laughing.
Singer Michael Bolton also played in their group.
"How can we be lovers if we can't be friends," Auriemma sang, "yeah, that one."
And if you were looking for laughs, you didn't have to look any further than Bill Murray.
"Alright, suck it in, come on, come on, come on," Murray said while posing for a picture.
Word is it was pretty hot out on the course and veterans came prepared with plenty of extra clothing, and some with deodorant.
