Storrs, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut football coach Randy Edsall is putting the final touches on what is expected to be a big recruiting class.

National signing day is Wednesday, and the Huskies have verbal commitments from 21 prospects.

Six have already enrolled. Those include linebacker Mike Osiecki, who was supposed to come to UConn in the fall, but delayed entering college because of injuries.

Others already in school include highly touted lineman Greg McKee from Chicago and Defensive End Jonathan Louis from Pennsylvania.

Quarterback Scott McCummings from Natick Mass. and wide receiver Tebucky Jones Jr., from New Britain are among the others expected to sign. Jones is the son of the former New England Patriots defensive back.
